These Terms govern your use of Article Artist (articleartist.com), operated by [OWNER: legal name of person or company, address] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Article Artist turns articles and text you provide into social content (carousels, threads, posts, scripts and images) using automated tools, including third-party AI models. Features, templates and limits may change over time.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old [OWNER: confirm minimum age] and give accurate information. You are responsible for your account, your password and everything done with it. Tell us at [email protected] if you think your account was compromised.

3. Plans, credits and billing

  • Free plan: a limited number of articles per month, with a watermark on exports.
  • Paid subscriptions (monthly or yearly): billed in advance through our payment processor (Stripe) and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Lifetime Founder (one-time payment): gives the listed monthly allowance for as long as Article Artist is operated. It is not transferable. [OWNER: confirm wording and what happens if the service shuts down.]
  • Credits: one "article" credit is used per generation or remix. Monthly credits reset each period and do not roll over. One-time bonus credits (for example from referrals) do not expire while the account is active [OWNER: confirm] and have no cash value.
  • Prices and taxes: prices are shown in USD and may exclude taxes. We may change prices for future periods with advance notice.
  • Refunds: [OWNER: choose a policy — e.g. "Refunds on request within 14 days of the first payment if you have used fewer than 3 articles"]. Where the law gives you a right of withdrawal, that right applies.

4. Free trial without an account

You can try one generation per day without an account. Trials are limited per browser and per network to prevent abuse. Trial results are kept for a limited time and can be claimed by creating an account.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the articles and text you submit and to the content you create with the service ("Your Content"). You give us a limited licence to host, process and display Your Content only to operate the service for you (including sending it to our AI providers for processing). You confirm you have the rights to submit it and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights.

Public share pages: if you turn on a public page for a carousel, anyone with the link can see it, and search engines may index it. You can turn it off at any time.

6. AI-generated output

Output is produced automatically and may contain mistakes. Review it before publishing — you are responsible for what you publish. Similar output may be generated for other users.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use Article Artist to: break the law; infringe copyright or other rights (for example by submitting content you have no right to use); create spam, harassment, hate or misleading content; attack, overload or scrape the service; resell access without permission; or get around limits (for example by creating multiple accounts to collect free credits or referral rewards). We may suspend accounts that do.

8. Referral program

Referral rewards are given when a new person creates a genuine account through your link, subject to limits. Self-referrals, fake accounts and abuse cancel rewards. We may change or end the program at any time.

9. Emails

We send account and billing emails. We may also send a weekly summary; you can opt out with one click or in your email preferences.

10. Termination

You can delete your account by contacting [email protected] [OWNER: or add a self-serve delete button]. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are significant we will notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.

13. Governing law
